Mathematics activity

I had Mathematics activity last week and I want to explain how to solve that problem.
I want to explain 'The 120 metre rope' and 'The Roald Dahl activity' to you.

1) The 120 metre rope activity

We have 120 metre rope to shut in sheep
And, we get money $300,000,000 for each sqare.
So, we have to make BIG CAGE as possible as we can.
Cause, we wanna take more money:-)

First, I made cage in sqare each side for 30 metre.
And, Its area were 900㎡
So, It costs $ 27,000,000,000.

BUT
I thought the circle one is bigger than sqare.
So, I tried to make the cage in circle.

2πR = 120
↓ ÷2
πR = 60

R = 60/π (π=3.14159)

∴ R = 19.09860930........

So circle's area is 2πR²

2×3.14159×(19.09860930...)²
= 2291.8308.....

So, it will cost 2291.8308...×300,000,000
= $ 687,549,240,000

So, the answer is $ 687,579,240,000

2) The Roald Dahl activity

There is a paper. its thickness is 1mm.
if I fold it 50 times,
What thickness is the paper?

If I fold it 1 time,
Its thickness will be 2mm.

If I fold it 2 times,
Its thickness will be 4mm.

If I fold it 3 times,
its thickness will be 8mm.

.
.
.

1 time
2 mm
2 times
4 mm
3 times
8 mm
.
.
.
.
.
.

So, I can find its regulation.

I can use equation-3.png

so, I can find the answer to use equation.png

equation.png = 1,125,899,906,842,624.

So, the answer is 1,125,899,906,842,624mm
= 1,125,899,906,842.624m
